Job Description

The Social Work Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing programme development and service delivery under various initiatives. This position involves managing care staff, building strategic partnerships, and implementing programmes that strengthen caregiving, reintegration, and community support.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of project initiatives to ensure effective service delivery and beneficiary outcomes.
  2. Develop and manage new partnerships to deliver activities and engagement programmes that cater to diverse needs.
  3. Plan and oversee programmes for care staff, including training courses, counseling, support groups, and upskilling/reintegration opportunities that foster professional growth.
  4. Collaborate with external organisations to co-create and deliver impactful programmes that enhance service delivery and beneficiary outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree or diploma in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in social service, with a strong background in programme development, partnership management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience managing staff, including training, counseling, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for social impact, caregiving, and reintegration work.
