We are seeking a detail-oriented engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems in renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare coordinated MEP drawings based on design inputs and site conditions.
  • Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical, air-conditioning, fire sprinkler, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawing accuracy.
  • Incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback and ensure timely updates.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and drawing logs.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and project specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A minimum of 2-5 years experience in MEP drafting is required. Experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or building services projects is preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings is necessary. Strong understanding of MEP services layout, installation sequencing, and coordination principles is also required. Familiarity with local building codes and standards is an asset.
