Job Title: MEP Design Specialist

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of MEP drawings, coordination of CSD drawings, technical drawings/detailing, and documentations.

Duties:

  • Utilize BIM/CAD software to create shop drawings/construction drawings/as-built drawings documentations.
  • Support the project team with design engineering works.
  • Verify subcontractor system drawings CAD/models and submissions prior to coordination/CSD.
  • Liaise with internal project members, subcontractors, clients, and consultants to issue coordinated drawings for approval/construction.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and requirements.
  • Clarify and raise RFI for any discrepancies. Coordinate/communicate with internal and external teams members and consultants.
  • Ensure that highlighted clashes are resolved or concluded; if not, continuous monitoring for resolutions to be provided by the project team.
  • Carry out modeling and shop drawings as instructed and complete in a timely manner.
  • Make presentations using BIM-related software as required by the project team.
  • Perform and maintain proper documentation of clash detection reports.
  • Manage the process of coordination, exchange of data, and collaboration of BIM with project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Technical certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Engineering.
  • Min. 2 years of working experience in a similar position.
  • Preferably with relevant experience in M&E services, proficient in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and familiar with Authority submission process and procedure.
  • Local entry levels will be considered.
  • 5.5 days per week (alternate Saturday off).
