**Quality Control Specialist**


Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control analyses in compliance with laboratory and analytical methods to ensure quality, cGMP, health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
  • Assist in other functions such as documentation and preparation of standard operating procedures.
  • Carry out on-the-job training of other quality control analysts, incorporating cGMP and safety procedures.
  • Perform and carry out analytical testing in compliance with specifications, analytical methods, laboratory methods, and pharmacopoeia requirements.
  • Monitor the calibration and maintenance program for laboratory instruments/equipment and ensure compliance with established schedules.
  • Qualify laboratory equipment and validate analytical methods.
  • Ensure that analyses are carried out and reported in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and are completed on time and consistent with business requirements.
  • Conduct OOS and atypical results investigations.
  • Maintain qualification, preventive maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Report and trend test results.
  • Plan and assure cGMP-compliant quality testing and documentation according to schedule.
  • Prepare laboratory reagents in compliance with GLP and laboratory SOP requirements.
  • Source reagents/laboratory consumables keeping departmental budget targets in view.
  • Assist in other functions such as preparation of standard operating procedures and assist documentation etc.

Requirements
  • A minimum of one year's hands-on analytical testing experience in a lab environment from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with analytical equipment (e.g., HPLC, GC, etc).
  • Willingness to work shift on a rotational basis.
  • Analytical, methodical, and quality-conscious mindset.
  • Good knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP.
  • Diploma in chemistry/chemical process technology/bio-process technology or ITE graduate.
