Job Title: Workshop Engineer

Job Description

The Workshop Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our workshop. This individual is responsible for ensuring all project requirements are met and standards exceeded. They will work closely with the Workshop Manager to prepare and test subsea equipment systems, guaranteeing full operational readiness.

  • Prepare and test equipment systems, particularly subsea survey sensors, to ensure they are fully operational prior to mobilization.
  • Conduct workshop activities to ensure timely preparation of equipment that meets project requirements.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and keep all survey equipment in good working order, with up-to-date records of equipment status, calibration, and movement.
  • Adhere to health, safety, environmental, permit to work, and quality procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma in IT, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent team-oriented skills, with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • High accuracy and precision in task performance and results delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid passport without any restrictive conditions that would impede international travel and work.
  • A full driver's license.
  • Excellent decision-making and action-oriented skills.
