Our Asia-Pacific organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner to lead our regional HR function. This role requires a deep understanding of international HR practices, regional employment legislation, and the ability to translate global initiatives into locally relevant solutions.

About the Role

This high-impact position involves strategic partnering with senior leaders to develop HR strategies that drive performance, engagement, and growth across Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, and other key markets. You will be responsible for leading the HR agenda across the region, which includes:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business challenges and develop HR strategies that drive performance, engagement, and growth.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide expert guidance on local employment law, industrial relations, and ER matters, ensuring compliance and best practice across all jurisdictions.
  • Talent Management: Lead regional talent initiatives including assessment, succession planning, and development programs that identify and nurture high-potential individuals.
  • Organisational Development: Support organisational reviews and change initiatives, helping to shape structures that enable agility and innovation.
  • Employee Experience: Champion listening strategies and engagement activities that reflect our commitment to creating a workplace where people thrive.
  • Project Leadership: Act as HR lead on key global and regional projects, contributing business insight and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Policy & Process: Support the rollout and adoption of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance across markets.

We are looking for a resilient, proactive, and highly collaborative HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in HR business partnering across multiple countries, ideally within APAC.
  • Strong knowledge of regional employment legislation and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and build trust across cultures and seniority levels.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to execute operational tasks with precision.
  • Experience working with international teams and managing cross-border contracts.
  • Willingness to travel across AML sites and to the UK as required.
