Estimator & Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Estimator & Procurement Specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for preparing accurate quotations for projects based on project requirements, Schedule of Rates (SOR), and technical scope. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and analytical skills, as well as experience in cost estimation, procurement, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project requirements, tender documents, and SOR to prepare quotations.
  • Measure quantities and apply correct unit rates for pricing.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure costings align with technical scope.
  • Prepare cost breakdowns for management approval.
  • Update and maintain costing database for recurring projects.
Procurement & Sourcing:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for parts, materials, and subcontracted services.
  • Request and compare quotations to ensure best value.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project timelines.
  • Maintain supplier database and track market price trends.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in cost estimation, procurement, or contracts.
  • Familiar with SOR and basic contract terms.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with costing software.
