Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Estimator and Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for estimating costs, procuring materials and services, and managing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Quantity Takeoff and Cost Estimation:
  • You will be responsible for taking off quantities and estimating costs for construction projects.
  • Tender and Quotation Submission:
  • Prepare and submit tenders and quotations for construction projects, including following up with clients to clarify any issues.
  • Procurement and Negotiation:
  • Sources quotations, negotiates with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Progress Claims and Variations:
  • Prepares and resolves progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
  • Evaluation and Certification:
  • Evaluates and certifies subcontractors' progress claims, variation orders, and final account.
  • Site Meetings and Client Liaison:
  • Attends site meetings to capture variation claims, prepares interim valuations, and potential variation works. Liaises with clients and consultants on all contractual issues.
  • Administration and Teamwork:
  • Handles other assigned duties or related job as required. Works effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction management, civil engineering, or quantity surveying
* 3+ years of experience in construction estimation, procurement, and project management
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
