Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction estimator to play a key role in the success of our business.

  • This is an opportunity for an individual with strong negotiation, construction estimating, administration, procurement and cost control skills to manage the estimation process from tender stage through to project completion.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed quantity surveys, bills of quantities and schedules of rates for tenders and works.
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete estimations are delivered on time.
  • The ideal candidate will evaluate suppliers and subcontractors regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • They will attend daily and monthly meetings to ensure project progress aligns with business objectives.
  • Maintaining compliance with safety and health protocols at all times is essential.
  • The successful candidate will develop and manage project budgets and monitor actual expenses against planned figures.
  • They will provide technical information on specifications, supply, logistics and procurement arrangements as required.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of drawings and designs to support the estimation process is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates and meeting tight deadlines.
