Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC specialist to join our project. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and supervising HVAC system installation, reviewing technical specifications, and coordinating with consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise HVAC system installation, including ducting, chilled water piping, air handling units, fan coil units, exhaust systems, and building management system interfaces.
  • Review technical specifications, shop drawings, and material samples to ensure compliance with design requirements and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with M&E consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Ensure that HVAC works are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Attend site meetings and inspections with clients and relevant authorities.
  • Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities, including air balancing, leak testing, and cleanroom readiness.
  • Maintain proper documentation for QA/QC records, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in construction projects, preferably in semiconductor/industrial/commercial building sectors.
  • Familiar with project planning tools and construction drawings.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication, reading, and writing skills in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associates.
