Medical Simulation Coordinator

This position plays a crucial role in coordinating medical simulation education at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation.
The Simulation Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to integrate different types of medical simulation into existing healthcare curricula, develop new courses and educational initiatives, and evaluate all simulation-related sessions and programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot training and medical equipment
- Program, test, and apply educational scenarios in collaboration with faculty
- Monitor medical aspects of training scenarios and adjust simulation equipment based on participants' actions
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Biomedical Engineering
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Organisational and time management skills to follow through workshops to completion
- Physical ability to lift, move and set up simulation lab equipment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
- Prior working experience in the healthcare simulation environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human physiology is an advantage
