Job Description

This role resides within the Simulation group, which lies in the fields of structural dynamics, mechanics of materials, vibration and thermal.

We are looking for someone who can perform static, dynamic, and structural thermal-mechanical analyses with minimal guidance.

  • Drive design decisions using credible simulation methods and collaborate closely with Design Engineers.
  • Proactively assess risks, solve problems, and communicate issues concisely.
  • Plan, prioritize, and ensure timely handover of project deliverables across teams and locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Material Science, or equivalent, with 2+ years' experience in mechanical product analysis and development.

Proficient in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, Moldflow, Abaqus) and experienced in structural (FEA), plastic molding, and modal/vibration analyses.

  • Strong understanding of solid mechanics and material strength; experience with FEA automation or machine learning is a plus.
  • Familiarity with measurement and data acquisition tools (e.g., B&K Pulse, strain gauge, MATLAB, Labview).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk identification skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and contribute to FMEA sessions.
