Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Engineering Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electronic engineering or computer science and be able to understand quality and yield performance by product, process and equipment.

The successful candidate will perform first-level commonality analysis, SPC & in-line process data, material data, machine log and machine breakdown data, fault detection, yield loss, defect Pareto, inline metrology and AOI data. They will also take part in mean time to detect (MTTD) improvement projects for early detection of process issues.

The Engineering Associate will work closely with the cross-functional team members from Process and Equipment to resolve yield-related issues. They will monitor product yield and highlight low-yield issues, analyze sort yield data, inline metrology data and defect data.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of discipline and integrity. The successful candidate will be willing to undergo job rotation/cross-training and possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
  • Ability to understand Quality & Yield performance by product, process & equipment
  • Able to analyse the abnormality and scrap with analysis tool & database
  • Cross function interaction and continuous improvement across various departments
  • Willingness to perform shift work
  • High level of discipline and integrity
  • Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency
  • Meticulous, keen attention to details and organize
