Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

As a highly skilled and experienced individual, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our warehouse. This includes receiving shipments, checking for damages, and sorting stock for distribution.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders. Additionally, they will need to fill orders by retrieving items from the warehouse and preparing them for delivery.

A key aspect of this role is monitoring inventory levels and placing orders with suppliers when necessary. The Warehouse Team Lead must also be able to resolve any shipping or cargo issues that may arise.

Supervising a team of receiving employees and training new staff members is also an essential part of this role. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to operate forklifts and similar equipment
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate receiving employees
  • Ability to think quickly and resolve issues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to bend and lift heavy boxes
  • Fluency in English
  • Well-organized, able to multitask but also attentive to detail
