The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a new interdisciplinary school that brings together expertise in chemistry, chemical engineering, and biotechnology. We are seeking a talented individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor in Biocatalysis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct cutting-edge research in biocatalysis, with a focus on developing innovative and internationally visible research programs.
- Teach related topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of students.
- Contribute to the development of the school's research and academic programs.
We are seeking individuals with expertise and a proven track record in fields related to biocatalysis, including bio-organic synthesis, natural products biosynthetic enzymes, artificial enzymes, mechanism-based or nature-inspired enzyme engineering, genetic code expansion and unnatural amino acids, directed or continuous evolution, computational design and deep learning, genetic or biochemical screens, genome mining, and synthetic biology.
