About the School
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a new interdisciplinary school formed by integrating the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) from College of Engineering and the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry (CBC) from College of Science. Our faculty members conduct cutting-edge research in diverse areas of bioengineering, biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, food science, and other fields.
Research Focus
We are seeking individuals with expertise and a proven track record in fields related to biotechnology, including but not limited to areas related to cell therapy, gene therapy, RNA therapy, deep learning for biomedicine and healthcare, computational biology and bioinformatics, targeted drug delivery, synthetic biology, and vaccine technology.
Teaching Responsibilities
Successful candidates are expected to develop innovative, internationally visible, and extramurally funded research programs. They are also expected to teach related topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
