Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Biocatalysis

At Nanyang Technological University, we are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology as a tenure-track faculty member in the area of Biocatalysis. Our research-intensive environment provides a unique opportunity for you to develop innovative and internationally visible research programs, while also teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of publications in top journals and a well-defined research vision. They will be expected to develop a research program that is extramurally funded and has a significant impact on the field of Biocatalysis. We are also seeking candidates with outstanding teaching and mentoring skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals with expertise and a proven track record in fields related to biocatalysis, including bio-organic synthesis, natural products biosynthetic enzymes, artificial enzymes, mechanism-based or nature-inspired enzyme engineering, genetic code expansion and unnatural amino acids, directed or continuous evolution, computational design and deep learning, genetic or biochemical screens, genome mining, and synthetic biology.
The commencing salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered.
