Tenure-Track Position for Assistant Professor in Biocatalysis and Chemical Engineering

Research FocusWe are seeking individuals with expertise in biocatalysis, including bio-organic synthesis, natural products biosynthetic enzymes, artificial enzymes, and mechanism-based or nature-inspired enzyme engineering. Successful candidates will have a well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals.
Teaching and MentoringCandidates should have the ability to teach related topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of students. We value diversity and inclusivity, and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
RequirementsWe are looking for individuals with a proven track record in fields related to biocatalysis, including but not limited to:
- Genetic code expansion and unnatural amino acids
- Directed or continuous evolution
- Computational design and deep learning
- Genetic or biochemical screens
- Genome mining
- Synthetic biology
