Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Privacy Counsel to join our team in Greater Asia. This role will play a key part in shaping the trajectory of our organization while leaving a lasting legacy.

The successful candidate will oversee the development of our privacy and data protection strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations across the region. They will also be responsible for delivering our privacy program, managing local data protection officers, and coordinating governance initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive privacy and data protection strategy for Greater Asia
  • Manage local data protection officers and ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations
  • Deliver our global privacy program, aligning with business needs and regulatory expectations
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and regulators
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; law degree and in-house legal experience preferred
  • IAPP certification(s) (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) a plus
  • At least 3 years' experience in international privacy program development and management
  • Deep knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and best practices
