Job Title: Data Protection Specialist Asia
Job DescriptionWe are a leading provider of innovative solutions that help our customers create medical technology. Our team is responsible for advancing the world of health by delivering cutting-edge products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data protection strategies and operating models, focusing on applicable laws and regulations in the region.
- Act as Local Data Protection Officer (DPO) in jurisdictions where required by law.
- Deliver a comprehensive privacy program to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while meeting business needs.
- Coordinate and manage a network of privacy champions and provide support to business committees and leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Law degree and in-house legal experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company preferred.
- IAPP certification(s) beneficial.
- At least 3 years' experience in international privacy program development and management.
- Deep knowledge of data protection laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience working in a multinational company and complex matrixed environment desirable.
Knowledge of building and maintaining compliance programs and controls is essential.
