Job Title: Greater Asia Data Protection Officer

As a key member of the global privacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data protection strategies across various businesses and functions in the Greater Asia region. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, as well as providing guidance on best practices for data management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data protection strategies that align with BD's overall privacy goals
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistency in data protection practices
• Provide training and support to employees on data protection policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection regulations

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Law degree and in-house legal experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company preferred
• IAPP certification(s) (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus
• At least 3 years' experience of international privacy program development and management
• Deep knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, regulations and best practices
• Knowledge and experience of building and maintaining compliance programs and/or controls in a highly regulated area is required
