- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue purchase requisitions and purchase orders based on project requirements, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Review and evaluate contract documents from clients and main contractors to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Conduct price comparisons and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve the best possible pricing and terms.
- Manage variation orders and other contractual changes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring reliable and efficient procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contract details.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma/Degree in an Engineering field or related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and strong computer literacy.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
