About the Role

Cultivar Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our APAC sales team and drive revenue growth in the region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our sales presence in the APAC market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Market Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive incremental and new sales in the APAC region, identifying opportunities to expand into new distribution channels and markets.
  • Business Analysis: Regularly review and assess existing sales strategies to identify areas for improvement, analyzing key sales metrics and providing accurate forecasts to support resource planning and inventory management.
  • Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with key B2B customers, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to displace competitors.
  • Product Feedback: Gather product feedback and share insights with product development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Team Development: Lead new sales hiring efforts, set objectives, and provide training and coaching to ensure high team performance.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a Sales or Key Account Lead role, preferably within a consumer product company selling directly to large retailers (B2B or B2B2C) in the APAC region.
  • Proven track record in team management and sales achievements.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, and managing people.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the consumer product industry is a plus.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and ambition to achieve results.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of commitment and dedication.
  • Ability to prioritize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
