Desktop Support Role

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through timely and effective hardware and software support.
  • Maintain the hardware used by our teams every day, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage hardware databases to track inventory, ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide top-notch hardware and software support to internal teams.
  2. Manage technical support tickets, prioritizing issues to maintain service levels.
  3. Demonstrate expertise in technical troubleshooting across various platforms to resolve issues quickly.
  4. Prepare, ship, and receive equipment for remote users, tracking returns to keep databases up-to-date.
  5. Repair and maintain desktop and portable Macs and accessories, managing inventory databases.
  6. Develop deep technical and process expertise for products or applications, contributing to team training and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software and/or hardware technical support for internal customers or partner teams.
  • Proficient computer literacy, demonstrated through work experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) working with personnel from all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Flexible team player who can work in a fast-paced physical and virtual environment.
