Crane Technician Position

The role of Crane Technician involves ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of equipment. This requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repair and maintenance work on cranes, including third-party equipment as needed;
  • Supervise and/or perform service activities such as refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions;
  • Provide information and write reports as required;
  • Work irregular schedules with short notice at times, including nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Locations include ports, shipyards, anchorage, OPL of Singapore, and overseas locations;
  • Travel or follow vessels for job assignments when necessary;
  • Comply with all relevant safety and quality requirements;
  • Follow site safety rules, agreed working practices, and environmental requirements;
  • Recognize service and spares sales opportunities and communicate them to relevant persons;
  • Manage subcontractors and their job performance.
Requirements:
  • Education or working experience in an electrical background or other relevant field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with cranes;
  • Strong technical knowledge of crane operations, maintenance, and repair;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities;
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular schedules as required.
