Structural Integrity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Integrity Specialist to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on cranes, examining, interpreting, evaluating, and recording test results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT on cranes to ensure structural integrity
  • Examine, interpret, evaluate, and record test results
  • Maintain accurate records of testing and inspection activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime

Key Requirements

  • NITEC / NITEC in Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in NDT works
  • NDT Level 2 Certificate in Magnetic Particle Testing
  • Advantageous: NDT Level 2 Certificate in Ultrasonic Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing, or welding experience

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of PSA cranes, including quay cranes, yard cranes, and lifting equipment. This involves performing regular inspections, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent accidents.
