Marine Crane Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrician Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of marine crane and deck machinery, with a strong background in electrical systems and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out field service attendances to troubleshoot and repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics, and Davits. This will involve working independently and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years' experience in inspection, troubleshooting, and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses, and other hydraulic systems.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes and hydraulic machinery.
- Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
- Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
- Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage, and in Ship Yards.
The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to produce high-quality technical reports.
