Crane Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of cranes and other equipment on our barges.

Your primary focus will be on performing routine maintenance, inspecting equipment, and coordinating with crew members to ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a valid MOM-recognized Crane Operator License, as well as experience in crane barge mooring operations.

  • Maintenance and Inspection: Perform routine maintenance of cranes, barges, and deck equipment; Inspect equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
  • Operational Duties: Operate cranes to lift and move equipment, cargo, and related items; Conduct visual inspections of cranes and report any issues to the Barge Master
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure compliance with safety standards; Possess good communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification
  • Valid MOM-recognized Crane Operator License
  • Certificate in Lifting Supervision
  • Certified Signalman and/or Rigger
  • Completed Shipyard Safety Instruction Course (SSIC)
Essential Skills:
  • Technical Knowledge: Cranes, Construction, Risk Assessment, Housekeeping
  • Transportation Operations: Unloading, Vessel Operations, Rigging, Transportation
  • Soft Skills: Team Player, Problem-Solving, Time Management
