Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for performing methods engineering analysis, process design, time and motion study, and recommending manufacturing line improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform methods engineering analysis including process design, time and motion study, and recommend manufacturing line improvements.
  • Participate and lead in I.E. projects and programs within areas of responsibility.
  • Conduct/lead ergonomics/human factors evaluations, recommend and implement improvements to work area designs.
  • Develop/lead and implement manufacturing facility design of plant layout, material handling systems, material staging and warehousing as desired.
  • Support new products introductions by providing PLC/ePLC deliverables which include manufacturing line design and set up, material flow design, new tooling development and deployment of specialized tooling and fixtures.
  • Establish standards and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Work Environment:

  • This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
  • Because this position may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
