Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yacht Administration Manager to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As a key member of our yacht operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our luxury yacht, Paiza One M/Y.

Key Responsibilities

Operational

  • Act as the land-based orchestrator of yacht operations, working closely with the captain and crew to ensure seamless execution of voyages.
  • Manage all administrative tasks, including procurement, crew records, and scheduling.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the yacht, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve yacht operations and reduce costs.

Management

  • Oversee all flag and crew matters, ensuring timely renewals, surveys, and certifications.
  • Manage Marina Bay Sands services and support, including resourcing, procurement, finance, legal, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the purser and captain to manage Marina Keppel Bay and future overseas journey destinations.
  • Develop and implement effective management strategies to improve yacht operations and reduce costs.

Leadership

  • Maintain professional relationships with the captain and crew to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of operations and passenger experience.
  • Develop and implement effective leadership strategies to improve yacht operations and reduce costs.

Accounting/IT

  • Oversee the management and upkeep of in-yacht planning management software.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.

Compliance

  • Support the crew in operating the vessel in accordance with MBS Lifestyle Pte Ltd and Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Safety

  • Participate in the Safety Management System.
  • Participate in Emergency Response.
  • Follow Marina Bay Sands Workplace Safety and Health Policy practices.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the MBS Lifestyle team to plan and communicate Paiza One plans.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with Marina Bay Sands senior management to ensure the highest levels of communication and understanding of all Paiza One lifestyle experience strategy.

Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Degree in hospitality or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 5 years of maritime yacht management experience.

Other Prerequisites

  • Good command of spoken and written English to communicate effectively with crew members.
  • Confident and charismatic personality with great attitude towards passenger and crew.
  • Risk averse.
  • Mature, meticulous, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills, superior leadership.
