Job Summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yacht Administration Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing land-based support to our yacht, captain, and crew, ensuring the delivery of exceptional experiences for our guests and passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Support
    • Act as the land-based orchestrator of yacht operations, working closely with the captain and crew to ensure seamless yacht management and pre-voyage preparation.
    • Serve as a liaison between the crew, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
    • Assume responsibility for all administrative tasks, including procurement, crew records, and scheduling.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the Yacht Administration Manager.
  • Management
    • Oversight of all flag and crew matters, ensuring renewals, surveys, and certificates are up to date and compliant.
    • Management of Marina Bay Sands services and support, including resourcing, procurement, finance, legal, and compliance matters.
    • Management of Marina Keppel Bay and future overseas journey destinations in collaboration with the Purser and Captain.
    • Management of work hour schedules as prepared by the bridge, deck, engineering, hospitality, and galley departments.
    • Support the Captain and crew on repair and maintenance schedules and coordination of drydock schedules.
    • Oversight of provisioning executed by crew onboard (Chef and Chief Steward).
    • Support the Executive Director with management of costs and budgets, preparing monthly accrual statements, and collaborating with crew and leadership in forecasting.
  • Leadership
    • Maintain professional relationships with the Captain and crew to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of operations and passenger experience.
  • Accounting/IT
    • Oversight of the management and upkeep of in-yacht planning management software, including issues and events.
  • Compliance
    • Support the crew in operating the vessel and aspects in accordance with MBS Lifestyle Pte Ltd and Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd standard operating procedures, checklists, and limitations.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety
    • Participate in the Safety Management System.
    • Participate in Emergency Response.
    • Follow Marina Bay Sands Workplace Safety and Health Policy practices.
    • Report any work incidents, including vandalism, fights, fires, abuse, accidents, etc.
    • Observe activities and report any suspicious characters, items, and/or activities to support the team at Marina Bay Sands.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the MBS Lifestyle team, planning and communicating Paiza One plans.
    • Work collaboratively and effectively with Marina Bay Sands senior management to ensure the highest levels of communication and understanding of all Paiza One lifestyle experience strategy.
    • Enable and support a culture of communication, collaboration, knowledge, and professional growth to build strong relationships amongst the OneMBS teams.
    • Prioritize professional development and work with the Executive Director Paiza Lifestyle to enhance skills sets with respect to leadership, communication, organization, and strategic development.
    • Work on other ad-hoc initiatives as required in a highly dynamic environment.
    • Ability and willingness to work flexible days and hours as required by the business.
    • Maintain a healthy work/life balance.
    • Contribute ideas in support of the company vision, mission, value, and guiding principles.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Practice well-mannered behavior and grooming according to company standards.
    • Attend scheduled meetings as required.
    • Active involvement in Sands Care and sustainability programs.
    • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
