Operations Excellence Director

This role oversees strategic leadership in driving operational excellence across a global production ecosystem.

The position requires expertise in executing roadmaps for operational improvement, navigating matrix organizations, and delivering measurable outcomes through effective project and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Production Systems Office to drive Better, Faster, Cheaper principles by spearheading strategic and operational projects within the Semiconductor Solutions segment.
  • Strategize, implement, and enhance APS processes aligning operational activities with business outcomes and standardizing processes across production sites.
  • Develop and manage the Operational Excellence Training Program and Kaizen tools promoting continuous improvement.
  • Identify operational gaps, recommend solutions, and ensure best practice implementation across business units.
  • Oversee the Project Management Office collaborating with operational support teams to meet KPIs and complete projects on time.
  • Monitor and execute the Operational Excellence Roadmap ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Track and report on key deliverables such as roadmap milestone performance, project completion rates, and project adherence to schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience (15+ years) in operations, production systems, or continuous improvement leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale operational excellence programs in a matrix organization.
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
