Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and Implementing Daily Maintenance Schedules with Contractors and Internal Teams.
  • Ensuring Timely Execution of Scheduled Work by Recording Outcomes and Preparing Future Schedules.
Equipment Fault Diagnosis & Resolution

Investigate Equipment Failures, Implement Corrective Actions to Ensure Reliable Operation, and Conduct Preventive Maintenance Tasks.

Contractor Management & Shutdown Planning

Liaise with External Contractors for Day-to-Day Services and Major Shutdown Activities, Ensuring Smooth Communication and Coordination with Production Teams.

Maintenance Strategy Development & Reliability Enhancement

Collaborate with Production and Contractors to Develop Long-Term Maintenance Strategies that Improve Equipment Reliability and Minimize Recurrence of Issues.

Inventory Management & Procurement

Monitor Spare Parts Inventory, Receive Updates as Needed, and Assist with Purchase Requests for Tools and Maintenance Services.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain Accurate Records of Calibration, Maintenance Files, and Work Orders, Complying with ISO Standards and Internal SOPs.

Safety & Continuous Improvement

Uphold EHS Policies and Support Environmental Management Systems to Enhance Workplace Safety and Minimize Hazards.

Requirements Include:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 Years' Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer in a Chemical Plant Environment.
  • Hands-on Troubleshooting Skills on Chemical Plant Equipment.
  • Basic Understanding of Maintenance Technology, Mechanical Equipment, and Manufacturing Processes.
  • Effective Teamwork and Communication Skills with the Right Attitude towards Work Progress.
