Job Opportunity:
Project Manager - MechanicalThis is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role as a Project Manager - Mechanical, overseeing the execution of mechanical activities in our combined cycle power plant project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve mechanical design documents, commissioning documents, and method statements to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Liaise with the Owner's engineer and EPC consortium on technical and quality-related issues.
- Study legal requirements and implement them in the design and execution of the project.
- Develop new methods and procedures for project activities and supervise contractor's project execution processes.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and implement cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and submit periodic work plans and progress reports to management.
- Monitor site performance, contractors' procedures, and help develop project procedures.
- Advise senior management on work challenges and potential risks.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education.
- At least 9-12 years of relevant experience in combined cycle power plant projects and BOP Mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with international codes of practice and local SS codes of practice.
- Understanding of power generation project procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of environmental and regulatory compliance issues.
