Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator to manage costs and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Create detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs) and tender submissions for mechanical projects.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track and manage project budgets, variations and claims.
- Liaise with China-based suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate shipments, delivery schedules and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants and site personnel to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Monitor contract compliance and assist in final account preparation.
- Prepare Variation Orders for submission.
- Liaise with subcontractors and clients.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tenders.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required for regular communication with Chinese suppliers and logistics partners.
- Sound knowledge of Mechanical design and solutions.
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Engineering or related discipline.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in QS tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Excel).
- Strong negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful, proactive and responsible.
- Able to work under tight timelines.
- A team player.
