Director of Logistics Automation

We are seeking a visionary Director to lead our logistics automation initiatives, transforming the future of ready-mix operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in digital transformation, leadership, and stakeholder engagement to drive business growth and productivity improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for logistics automation, aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead the implementation of plant and yard automation solutions, including RFID loading, IoT weighbridges, and PLC/SCADA integration.
  • Implement warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and real-time mobile apps for drivers and customers.
  • Build a logistics data lake to support forecasting, CO₂ tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Drive LEAN and Kaizen initiatives to achieve ≥10% productivity improvement targets.
  • Manage vendor contracts and project budgets, ensuring compliance with ISO and WSH standards.
  • Lead a high-performing digital supply-chain team and staff training across departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or related field (MBA/MSc a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics automation or smart factory projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA/IoT integration, cloud systems, and LEAN practices.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's WSH, ISO systems, and IMDA grant processes preferred.

  • ≥70% truck loads automated via RFID gates
  • ≥25% reduction in loading cycle time
  • ≥10% cost reduction per m³ delivered
  • ≥95% data captured in central system
  • 100% CO₂ tracking coverage across mixes
  • ≥5× team payroll in validated CI savings
