Are you a logistics technology leader ready to transform the future of ready-mix operations? Star Ready-Mix is looking for a Director, Logistics Automation & Digital Supply Chain to lead our digital transformation—from raw material delivery through batching, yard and fleet operations, all the way to proof-of-delivery and billing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a 3-year automation roadmap aligned with IMDA Digital Leaders Programme.
  • Lead plant & yard automation (e.g., RFID loading, IoT weighbridges, PLC/SCADA integration).
  • Implement WMS, TMS, and real-time mobile apps for drivers and customers.
  • Build a logistics data lake to support forecasting, CO₂ tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Drive LEAN and Kaizen initiatives with ≥10% productivity improvement targets.
  • Manage vendor contracts, project budgets, and compliance with ISO and WSH standards.
  • Lead a high-performing digital supply-chain team and staff training across departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or related (MBA/MSc a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics automation or smart factory projects.
  • Strong knowledge in PLC/SCADA/IoT integration, cloud systems, and LEAN practices.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's WSH, ISO systems, and IMDA grant processes preferred.
Success Metrics (First 12–18 Months):
  • ≥70% truck loads automated via RFID gates
  • ≥25% reduction in loading cycle time
  • ≥10% cost reduction per m³ delivered
  • ≥95% data captured in central system
  • 100% CO₂ tracking coverage across mixes
  • ≥5× team payroll in validated CI savings
