Job Title: Import Logistics Manager
About This Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Import Logistics Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing import shipments from sea and air.
You will work closely with customers and agents to ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that customer requirements are met. Additionally, you will perform data entry tasks to support the import documentation process.
To succeed in this role, you should have 1-2 years of experience in import documentation within the freight forwarding industry. Key skills include verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Main Responsibilities:- Import Documentation Management: Ensure that all import documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations.
- Customer Liaison and Support: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating effectively via email or phone.
- Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Perform data entry tasks to support the import documentation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Freight Coordination and Logistics: Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.
