Drafter/Architectural Designer
About the Role:The primary objective of this position is to provide technical expertise in architectural design and engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and interpreting construction documents, performing calculations, and reviewing technical work products.
This role involves designing structural systems and components, managing projects from initial planning to completion, and developing innovative solutions to construction, architectural, or engineering challenges.
In addition, the Architectural Designer will design, plan, and manage product installations, develop material and construction specifications, and oversee safety aspects of the project.
This position requires excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit experience, as well as the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and interpret construction documents.
- Perform calculations and review technical work products.
- Design structural systems and components.
- Manage projects from initial planning to completion.
- Develop innovative solutions to construction, architectural, or engineering challenges.
- Design, plan, and manage product installations.
- Develop material and construction specifications.
- Oversee safety aspects of the project.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- 3+ years' proven experience as an architectural designer or architectural engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
