Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide top-notch technical assistance and support for desktop systems, hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems for end-users, installing and configuring computer systems, and delivering timely support to ensure seamless IT operations.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert onsite technical support for end-user service problems, including identification, diagnosis, rectification, and escalation.
  • Support a wide range of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other hardware components.
  • Install, re-install, troubleshoot, and reconfigure Microsoft Windows and Microsoft applications on desktop PCs and notebook PCs, such as Windows XP/7/10 OS or any standard desktop OS, MS Office, Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, etc.
  • Respond to queries, escalate issues, determine problems, resolve them, and handle MAC - move, add, and change tasks.
  • Take on and resolve complex calls or tasks with ease.
  • Deliver exceptional support and timely service.
Requirements:
  • A professional certificate, diploma, or advanced/graduate diploma in IT-related courses is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an end-user support environment is preferred.
  • A good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team are must-haves.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, professional presence, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
