Job Description

The Brand Ambassador Trainer is responsible for facilitating learning and development training initiatives that enable employees to develop relevant competencies to perform their roles effectively. This includes instilling a sense of pride and passion in each employee to become a brand ambassador.

The trainer will also act as an ambassador at training, openings, and public events such as product launches.

Key responsibilities include following instructions from the Chief Commercial Officer, demonstrating ability to facilitate workshops and initiatives to a professional standard, and ensuring that training offered to corporate partners is facilitated to the same standard.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business administration or a related field, with experience in the F&B and retail industry, ideally in luxury goods. They should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate learning and development training initiatives
  • Act as a brand ambassador
  • Ensure training offered to corporate partners meets standards
  • Multitask and prioritize duties
  • Monitor training standards and redirect or coach individuals as needed
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining efficient systems for recording learning and development activities
  • Provide individual feedback and learner support
  • Evaluate curriculum effectiveness and recommend areas for improvement
  • Conduct on-the-job trainings in locations

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Trainer Certification (e.g., ACTA, ACLP)
  • 7-10 years' experience in F&B/Retail/Learning and Development
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Public speaking experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to build strong business rapport at all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to work independently under pressure

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong background in business administration or a related field, with experience in the F&B and retail industry, ideally in luxury goods. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will have a diploma/degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, trainer certification, and 7-10 years' experience in F&B/Retail/Learning and Development. They should be proficient in MS Office Suite and have excellent command of written and spoken English.
