Healthcare Research Leader Job Opportunity

Job Description:

Lead and manage a team of researchers to collaborate with clinicians on delivering high-impact health service outcome studies. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical research projects aligned with national healthcare priorities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, managing research projects, and securing grants within the healthcare and AI research landscape.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing clinical research projects aligned with national healthcare priorities.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, academic partners, and government agencies.
  • Securing funding opportunities and identifying research gaps.
  • Mentoring junior researchers and contributing to capacity building within the department.
  • Translating research findings into actionable insights for policy and practice.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

Strong understanding of the Singapore healthcare landscape and experience in health service operations research or related fields.

Proven track record in clinical research design, implementation, and evaluation of various scale of projects.

Demonstrated success in securing research grants, particularly in healthcare and AI domains.

Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strategic mindset with the ability to align research with organizational goals.

Familiarity with health data analytics and AI applications in healthcare.

Team player with good analytical and organizational skills.
