Health Services Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Health Services Researcher. In this role, you will play a key part in formulating health services research ideas, working with healthcare professionals, applying for funding, and guiding junior researchers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working on projects related to health services and operational research.
  • Writing and reviewing research papers, presenting research outcomes, and developing collaborations.
  • Contributing to project management and providing guidance to other healthcare worker researchers.

In addition, you will be expected to:

  • Develop your own portfolio of research work and projects.
  • Work with Principal Investigators (PIs) on research grant administrative matters.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by your reporting officer or Head of Department.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in quantitative data and statistics, as well as expertise in health services research and applied statistics. You should also have proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in health services research and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for healthcare improvement.

You will be required to have a PhD/ Master/ Degree in Nursing / Medicine or related discipline and 4-5 years of experience in medical research is a plus.

  • Expertise in health services research and applied statistics.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing data-driven solutions for healthcare improvement.
