This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for gerontology or social work to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Programme Planning and Implementation: Develop annual programme calendars, ensure alignment with organisational goals, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
- Staff Development: Provide training and mentorship opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of Programme staff.
- Community Partnerships: Build relationships with local community groups, schools, and corporates to secure volunteer support and resources.
Academic Qualification & Experience:
A degree holder from a recognised institution, preferably in gerontology, geriatrics, nursing, allied health, or social work. The ideal candidate should have relevant work experience, a proven track record of success, and a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by the elderly population.
Passion & Personality:
Socially motivated, empathetic, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to build cohesive relationships with colleagues, clients, and community partners.
