Job Title: Occupational Care Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Care Specialist to join our team. As an Occupational Care Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and providing interventions for patients referred for occupational therapy. Your role will involve participating in administration and professional education as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred for occupational therapy independently
- Implement effective treatment plans and adhere to clinical standards
- Provide timely reviews of patients in the continuum of care
- Document patient progress and records accurately
- Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisors or other healthcare professionals when necessary
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare members in the multi-disciplinary team
- Participate and assist in managing clinical and/or service initiatives
- Assist in providing clinical education to occupational therapy students
- Contribute to departmental in-service training programs and hospital educational talks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well in a team and independently
- Competent in using Microsoft Office software
