Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Interior Projects Cost Estimator. As a key member of our interior projects team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by providing accurate and timely cost estimates.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for interior projects. You will also possess excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

As an Interior Projects Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for interior projects
• Performing quantity take-off and preparing cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and costing of project activities
• Analyzing project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities
• Managing and monitoring project budgets and cash flows
• Preparing and submitting claims and variations to clients and subcontractors

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying for interior projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Good knowledge of interior design materials, methods, and costs
• Familiarity with cost estimating and tendering processes
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
