Strategic Procurement Lead

Changi Airport Group (CAG), a leading air hub in Asia, seeks a skilled Strategic Procurement Lead to join its team. As the manager of Singapore Changi Airport, CAG performs key functions such as airport operations, air hub development, retail and commercial activities, infrastructure development, and airport emergency services.
The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, and a degree in Accountancy, Business, or equivalent professional qualifications.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance by divisions when executing procurement transactions, developing and implementing data-driven solutions to replace manual compliance checks, and serving as a trusted advisor to divisions on matters related to procurement, payments, and budgeting.
With a strong understanding of the procurement function and accounting knowledge, the successful candidate will be proficient in systems such as SAP, electronic procurement systems, and possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional requirements include excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
A competitive salary is offered for this exciting opportunity, estimated to be around SGD 120,000 - 180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent professional qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Good understanding of the procurement function with some accounting knowledge and data analytics experience will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form, and in engaging and managing senior stakeholders
- Strong planning and organization skills to drive and manage multiple projects
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in systems such as SAP, electronic procurement system, etc
- Knowledge in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. will be an advantage
