Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality care and support services for individuals with dementia and their carers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify the needs and goals of individuals with dementia and develop personalized care plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational therapy interventions, including activities and strategies to enhance activity engagement and address behaviours of concern.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to caregivers and domestic helpers on occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Provide case management services to individuals with dementia and their carers, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in occupational therapy, preferably in dementia care, geriatrics, or mental health settings.
Skills and Qualities:
  • Clinical supervision and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
