Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in the façade subcontractor construction business. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing tender documents, providing quantity and component take-offs, sourcing materials, evaluating quotations, and preparing procurement schedules.

The successful candidate will assist the project manager with negotiations, ensure submission of bonds from subcontractors, and prepare cost summary reports.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing tender documents to understand project details and requirements
  • Providing accurate quantity and component take-offs against drawings as specified in the tender document
  • Sourcing materials and sending quotation inquiries to vendors and subcontractors, comparing quotes, and reviewing prices to ensure compliance with tender requirements
  • Evaluating quotations and costing summaries for approval prior to tender submission
  • Preparing procurement and subcontract schedules
  • Assisting the project manager with negotiations and awarding sub-contractors
  • Ensuring submission of bonds from sub-contractors
  • Preparing cost summary reports

Other ad-hoc duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the façade industry
