Job Title: Quality Assurance Executive

This position involves overseeing all quality and food safety control processes to ensure compliance with international standards.

  • Manage the implementation of food safety protocols, including HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, FSSC 22000, Halal, and local statutory requirements.
  • Develop and review food safety and quality policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Control and maintain documentation related to ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, Halal, and local statutory requirements.
  • Perform incoming quality checks, product sensory evaluations, online critical control points, food product testing, and verification.
  • Conduct QA audits at central kitchens and outlets, prepare QA analysis reports for non-conformances, and maintain consistent documentation of records and audit reports.
  • Monitor the overall quality and food safety of operations from receiving to delivery and recommend corrective actions in case of non-compliance.
  • Ensure ingredient and finished product safety and quality.
  • Evaluate proper cleaning and personnel hygiene practices in production and delivery teams.
  • Internal staff training on quality and food safety.
  • Conduct daily hygiene inspections to reinforce stringent food hygiene safety practices.
  • Perform site inspections for continuous feedback and track improvements.
  • Enforce good food safety and workplace practices for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct joint food incident investigations to monitor rectification actions.
  • Support monthly pest control programs with contractors.
  • Perform aseptic microbiological samplings and testing for food products and hand swabs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Food & Beverage / Culinary Management or Business-related fields.
  • Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or equivalent.
  • Relevant QA/QC experience handling ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, Halal, and local statutory requirement documentation and records.
  • Familiarity with SFA, NIP, COA, and microbial testing knowledge advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in QA industry/environment.
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving ability, self-confidence in decision-making, leadership, influential, coaching skills, strong interpersonal skills, and hands-on approach.
  • Must possess Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate and SFA.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and Halal requirements.
